MYSORALIA 62474/D

Since I will be visiting India soon let me introduce the best Sandalwood perfume made in my life. During many years I had the obsession to make a Sandalwood perfume which improved the pure and most refined Sandalwood oil and it was not easy at all and I failed many times during many years because I did not want to make any Samsara nor any Madame Rochas, two great fragrances using a lot of Sandalwood in its composition but being Samsara and Madame Rochas not homophonic Sandalwood fragrances. I only wanted to make a pure SANDALWOOD perfume better than the oil and to my despair the charm and mystery of the oil it was always prevailing and it was this way one thousand times until I created the treasure, the jewel and the absolute wonder of our MYSORALIA 62474/D.

This fragrance it makes you to lose your senses both in the top note that remains homophonic from the very moment you smell it until the very end although this end lasts a lot….weeks ? Months?. This would be my modest hommage to the Indian perfumery which I am afraid it does not exist anymore. It existed in the past when the Indian perfumery was using the many natural jewels it treasured, Sandalwood oil, Tuberose Absolute, Tuberose Heart IFF, Frangipani Absolute, Champaca Absolutes and our Champacas Olessences, Jasmine Sambac Absolute, the youngest, the happiest; Jasmine Flexile Absolute, the one imparting the most classical beauty, Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute, Jasmine Auriculatum Absolute, all the collection of Attars ( Saffron, Mitti, Gul Hina, Champa, choya Nakh, but only the genuine ones, codistilled in real Sandalwood oil) , the beguiling touching beauty of Kewra Absolute from Orissa which is unparalleled in the world, the top Agarwood oils mainly from Manipuri and from Nagaland…. just treasures, sacred olfactory jewels.

Well, Mysoralia 62474D is an hommage to the real soul of the passion Indians felt proudly for their Royal and spiritually touching perfumery and not to what is happening in India nowadays where all the beauty and all the creativity present in the Indian soul has been lost in a sadly suicidal „price war“ with everyday worse and worse fragrances, having been the best ones, some of them created by me, sadly destroyed through reformulation.

Our MYSORALIA 62474/D is so good that when knowing its smell you‘ll forget all the perfumes you have smelled in the past. It contains 10% of the most refined Sandalwood oil Mysore enhanced by unknown resinous and creamy Sandalwood aldehydes , so massivelly used by me, Brahmanal, Mysoral and Bacdanal that impart a holy aura and novelty to the traditional beauty of the pure oils. These three aldehydes exhalt a strong „frankincense“ and magical beauty to the blend. Then Polysantol, Firsantol, Nor Santol, Javanol, Pashminol, Hindinol and finally Nirvanol create the „Sanctasantorum“, the holiness of the accord which is enhanced by Ambrocenide Symrise, Ambrostar Symrise, Belambre Givaudan, Limbanol dextro Firmenich and Paxamber IFF, Ambrettolide vraie, the magics of Dihydro Nirvanolide, Angelicolide, Exaltolide, Exaltenone High cis, (R)-Musconelactone, the real Muscolide and our fabulous Musk Tonkin 88492/D, our Musk Tibet 44563/D and our Deermusk 44570-3/D that work implacably well with the sandalwood aldehydes and the woody notes especially Ambrocenide and Ambrostar which is by the way the best woody molecule in the world; then the necessary Shiva Heart 40718/D and Neroli Citronnier 62522/D Auramessence..,A secret? Our Aquillaria 62108/D, of course not comparable to our very perfect Oudh oils but it clicked in India where is sold by hundreds of tons throughout all the country!
