Just to say that being kings of agarwood oils as we are we, as agarwood, we have much better than this but since it is being used, we made Rotundawood 40390/D equivalent to Akigalawood and Rotundawood 40390-2/D a must finer ingredient, much, much finer. Our Rotundawood bases which we have decided to sell today contain a lot of (-)-Rotundene, alpha bulnesene epoxide, Norpatchoulenol, patchoulol, (-)-Rotundenone, Nor dihydropatchoulenol and lots more and to tell you the truth they are not agarwood bases, nothing to be compared to our series 40300/D to 40300-11/D or to our fabled Agarwood Malaysia 62001/D, our Agarwood Sumatra 64487/D, our Agarwood Supreme 62000/D, our great Royal oudh 40157/D. However, our Rotundawood 40390/D is there to be used where it is used but, a secret? I never use it since we have the version 40390-2/D which is a fresh, woody, relatively floral note, easy to mix with florals or masculine elegantly woody florals like our supreme Marcus Aurelius 88246/D dedicated to the memory of one of the best Roman Emperors, Marcus Aurelius, April 26th., 121-March 17th., 180, dead when he was only 59. One of the top five best, the fourth of the Spanish origin like Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius and Lucius Vero and one of top representatives of the Estoic philosophy! Why Marcus Aurelius would have loved 88246/D? Well just to tell you that its core is Eternal Sandalwood 88256/D, Rotundawood 40390-2/D, an additional big dose of Firsantol Firmenich (3%), the unknown wonder of Veraflor, Vulcanolide, the miracle molecule that holds the musk molecules exhalting in them the eternity… Dihydronirvanolide, much better than Nirvanolide, Angelicolide,dextro Muscenone, Exaltenone high cis, Helvetolide and many other….Ambrox Classique, Ambrettolide vraie… an idea? let us continue tomorrow. It will be a great idea…it will be a very nice writing mixing not the mediocre Rotundawood 40930/D but its unbelievably elegant version 40930-2/D…together with Nor Limbanol dextro, Limbanol dextro and the greatest Symroxane…

ANDAMAN SERIES 44568-6/D, 44568-7/D and 44568-8/D three stars of a miracle. A lovely and extremely harmonious creations using our marvelous leathery base LEATHERALIA 88464/D, a lovely combination of Chinese Cedarwood oil, the most phenolic of the cedarwood oils enhanced by 2-Methylnaphtalene, 4-Ethyl guaiacol, 3,4-Dimethylphenol, 3,6-Dimethoxyphenol and other rare leathery ingredients. The only difference between the three is precisely the amount of this excellent base. I used in this fragrance a lot of FLOROL NEO Firmenich ( Not to be confused with Florol since it is totally different). I used our Saffron Concentrate Absolute 54246/D, ( a captive or let me say very restricted base), some Ethyl Linalool, our reputed AMBER GRIS ABSOLUTE 44508/D ( based on the serious research of the natural Amber Gris Absolute) combined with the greenness of Veridian, Verdima , greeneone, pyrazobutyle and Oxadiène and the marine note of Maritima because the ANDAMAN islands smell, to me, is related to Amber gris and greenness with lots of Z-11 brut distilled. (Z-11 pure paste,) it accords extremelly well with the almost natural scent of our mentioned Amber Gris Absolute. A touch of Maltol which harmonizes the Mate Absolute colorless CTX and the great musks Dihydro Nirvanolide and Angelicolide with its clean elegant musk and sandalwood facets since ANDAMAN also has some shades of Sandalwood blowing its lovely and warm winds to eternity. All the amberiness is reinforced by Ambrox Super which is enhanced by Super Ambrox and Dehydroambrox, with a vanilla drydown based on around 1.5% of Vanillin and 0.3% of Vanilla SFE Bourbon, lots of Pyralone BN that completes the creative accord imparted by our magnificent and sensitive spirit of our LEATHERALIA 88464/D which is radically new; lots of Puralide musk ( S-Galaxolide, not to be confuse with normal Galaxolide but it imparts its purest essence ) and dry flowers imparted by extremely new molecules and many mysterious absolutes…imagined on the dreams caused by the loveliness of the airs of Andamam, the striking and bizarre but also colorful Indian islands lost in the middle of an enchanting world not far from exotic Malaysia and would you ask, is there agarwood oil? The answer is yes, the best of the best, our AGARWOOD TOP CAMBODIAN 64728/D…although this is a marvellous limited edition and Royal Western fragrance….Why three Andamans? Well just respecting the plural taste of the customer for whom these three jewels, extremelly and strongly masculine have been created! They are different and I love the three versions being powerless to say and to feel which one is the best!
